Hey, I'm Elif

A third year medical student studying at Baskent University in Ankara, Turkey. I've graduated from Ankara Tevfik Fikret High School and can trace back my roots to Ayas, Ankara for centuries.   • During my time in high school I participated in the TÜBİTAK High School Level Research Projects Competition, with a project on ascorbic acid an its effects on fighting certain conditions tested on mouse cells.

  • I've also written a graphical user interface for naming and saving video files from vision processing based research projects, using Python and Tkinter

  • I was also an active member of my high school robotics team: FRC Team 3390! We got to compete in numerous competitions in the US and in Turkey, including the 2018 World Finals in Houston,TX. You can check out the Anatiolian Eaglebots here

  • I love being a part of cultural events. That is why starting high school I became an active member of our school band and drama club! I've taken part plays and enjoy playing the tenor saxophone. In my spare time, I prefer reading and hanging out with my boyfriend Deniz.
